RFID ME™ UHF USB Reader a product of MTI

The RFID ME™ UHF USB Reader is a small, compact and cost effective RFID reading and writing device with integrated antenna. This device enables you to read and write UHF transponder IDs for testing the functionality or transmitting to IT backend systems in a simple way.

Connect this handy USB reader directly or using an extension cable to the USB port of your PC or laptop. No further driver installation is required. Free of charge included applications enable you to read, write and delete transponder IDs.

A typical reading range up to 50 cm (dependent on the adjustable power and the transponder type) and the possibility of reading several transponders at the same time (bulk reading, anti-collision) allow an efficient way of collecting transponder data.

RFID ME™ is certified for the usage in different regions. It will be delivered as a complete kit including demonstration software for the PC.

Further detego® EXPRESS applications are included in the kit for free. These applications, based on the You-R® OPEN middleware, provide interfaces to several IT backend systems. The following transponder information is transmitted by default: EPC, reading timestamp and read point. Besides the provided interfaces, developers can use an extended Web Service or the .Net Facade to integrate the USB reader to own applications according delivered examples.
The Low-Level Command Set protocol allows the simple integration of the USB reader to Linux operating systems or even to automation systems (PLC).
