At the cashpoint the POS module from the detego® SUITE guarantees the simple and reliable detection of the items with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) labels. The items are registered without contact and passed through an interface to the POS system. Your cashiers no longer need to scan the barcodes and the unique identification of RFID prevents accidental multiple entries.

Security in customer returns
Furthermore, even customer returns are recorded automatically if the RFID label is still on the product. By booking at item level, it is guaranteed that items can be only returned if they have actually been sold.
Combination with EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance)
By combining with the EAS module, the RFID technology can be used as an alternative to traditional EAS systems. At the checkout, all items are marked as sold and will not trigger an alert at the point of exit.
Privacy is guaranteed
According to current privacy guidelines, the deactivation of RFID tags has to be carried out at the customer’s request. Therefore, the deactivation process can be triggered at the reader and the transponders can no longer be read.
